Nirmalabas High School, Imphal, is a Christian Unaided Minority Institution established under the protection of Article 30 of the Indian Constitution. The School is recognized by the Board of Secondary Education, Manipur. It was founded in 1966 and is managed by the Congregation of the Mother of Carmel, CMC Sisters, with its headquarters at Aluva, Kerala.
The aim of the school is to impart a sound education through a wholesome training which shall develop the character and personality of each pupil. Facilities are provided for the intellectual, moral, spiritual, emotional and social formation of the children admitted. The unfolding of the personality – the total development of the pupil – is its cherished goal.
The total responsibility of running the school rests upon C.M.C Sisters of Nirmalabas Convent, Imphal. The Headmistress is directly in-charge of the teaching and discipline in the school. Parents/guardians and students are specially requested to read the rules and regulations carefully and see that they are followed.
